5 Things I want to achieve by the end of the year

Okay so by this point I think you all know how much I like setting myself goals and targets etc. so it shouldn’t surprise you that even this late on in the year I’m still working towards certain things and I’ve decided to share 5 of them with you today.


Volunteer/ charity work

I know, I know, I’m always banging on about wanting to do some charity/ volunteer work but I think I’be found something that could work well for me. It’s called the night shelter project and basically you go once a week/ fortnight for an evening and serve guests hot food, chat to them and setting them up somewhere safe to sleep. It’s not a big time commitment so I think I should be able to do it and it sounds very useful.


Read 5 books by the end of the year

I know that doesn’t sound a lot but I’ve got a busy couple of months ahead of me so this target is really just there to encourage me to keep reading despite my busy schedule.


Complete the insanity workout dvd’s

If you don’t know already, ‘Insanity’ is a workout series on dvd’s that you follow along with. I think it lasts for 30 days (including rest days) and it’s supposed to kick start your fitness and get you into a good shape physically and that’s exactly what I need!


Go on holiday

So this one isn’t exactly the hardest of my goals but it’s something that I need to do. Me and Tom have got a short holiday booked in tenerife for the beginning of December and I’m counting down the hours until we go!


Start practising yoga

This one is very vague because I don’t yet know how much time I’ll be able to commit and I can’t afford to pay for yoga classes so I’m going to start following youtube videos hopefully at least once a week to see if I can get myself into it.


These goals might not be the most important things but they’re things that I would like to do by the end of the year so I’m putting them on my blog both to keep myself accountable and to hopefully inspire you to work on any goals you might have… don’t put it off ‘till the new year!

    I recently started yoga at the beginning of the month and I love it! I follow Andriene from Yoga with Andriene and I love it. I’m currently working my way through her Revolution 30 day challenge and it’s meant to be one a day but I don’t stick to it and just do it when I feel like it. I’ve seen changes in my cardio, flexibility a​nd posture already and I’m roughly half wa​y through. I would highly recommend 🙂
