Decathlon Leggings Review

I’m very motivated by rewards, for example, I’ll work harder towards my fitness goal if I know I’m going to treat myself to a new pair of trainers when I’ve completed it. That might make me shallow and materialistic but it works for me so I’m going to keep doing it! I recently completed one of my fitness goals (go me!) so I decided to treat myself to a new pair of workout leggings but since I’m trying to save up to buy a house at the moment, I didn’t really want to spend a lot of money on them. So that’s why I ended up browsing the isles of Decathlon in search for a pretty pair of cheap leggings to treat myself to. I found 2 different options, a blue pair and these so I decided to go for these since they’re very different from any of my others. I quickly tried them on in the changing cubicle (which if you didn’t know, is basically just an empty portaloo in decathlon) then paid for them, can you guess how much they were?… £7.99!! I didn’t even know it was possible to buy leggings that cheap to be completely honest!

Fabric

The fabric doesn’t feel as cheap as I expected it to, although I can tell it’s quite a bit thinner than any of my other leggings. I actually like how thin the fabric is on these because it’s a lot cooler than a thick, heavy legging but you do have to be careful which knickers you wear with these because I’d imagine they’re see-through in certain light!

The fit

I’ll be honest, these don’t fit me well at all and I would return them for that if they weren’t so cheap. I wouldn’t wear these with a crop top because you’d be able to see how baggy the waistband is but I don’t mind wearing them with a regular length top. Because of how baggy the waistband is, they do start slipping down at the top so the crotch area gets saggy which is really not a good luck so I have to pull these up quite often (like a pair of tights).

Comfort

These leggings are comfortable when you’re sat down but because of the fit issue it’s just annoying to have to keep pulling them up so I wouldn’t call them ‘comfortable’.
Obviously everyone comes in different shapes and sizes so this fit issue is just something that personal to me and might not be an issue at all for other people but I wanted to share my experience with you, I will keep them because I like how they look and the lighter fabric is a lot cooler than normal. My verdict for these leggings is that you get what you pay for and that’s a very cheap price for a pair of leggings!
