Chocolate chip cookies recipe

I have many weaknesses and homemade cookies are very high on my list so I wanted to share my favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe on here for anyone to use. This recipe is really easy to do and I got about 30 small cookies out of it and you can freeze the dough for up to 1 month if you don’t want to bake them all at once!

Difficulty: Easy

Time to prepare: 10 – 20 minutes

Ingredients:

230g Butter, melted

200g Brown sugar

200g Granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1tsp Vanilla Extract

350g Plain Flour

1 tsp Baking Soda

Chocolate chunks (as much as you like)

Method:

– Pre-heat the oven to 190*C

– Whisk together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar

– Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth

– Add the flour and baking soda and fold until it forms a smooth dough. {TIP – If the consistency is too runny, add some more flour, if it’s too dry add in some more butter}

– Fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly combined

– Bake for around 12 minutes {TIP – Bake for slightly less for gooey cookies or slightly more for crispy cookies}.

Serve with: Best served warm straight from the oven with a scoop of ice cream
