Book Review: Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

Title: Big Little Lies
Author: Liane Moriarty
Page Count: 512
Sometimes it’s the little lies that turn out to be the most lethal…
A murder…a tragic accident…or just parents behaving badly?
What’s indisputable is that someone is dead. But who did what?
Writing Style:
Liane Moriarty has a fantastic writing style. Her words jump off the page and capture you so it’s impossible to put the book down until you’ve finished it.
Overall Thoughts:
I bought this book to read for a book club rather than just because I wanted to read it but I have to admit, I’m so SO glad I did!
The characters in this book all have their own story lines. They have very specific characteristics and secrets of their own, which is something I like a lot. I found each character to be relatable at different points in the book as they all had real-life problems.
When it got to the ‘plot twist’ I literally gasped out loud, I was that invested in the book. My dog jumped up like I’d hurt myself so I’d say that’s a pretty good indicator of how good this book is… I’m tempted to read it again.
