Synopsis: When an intriguing novel appears on Catherine’s bedside table, she curls up and begins to read.
But as she turns the pages, she is horrified to realize she is a key character, a main player.
The story will reveal her darkest secret.
A secret she thought no-one else knew…
Writing Style: The words just lifted straight off the pages for me, I found the writing style to flow really well which made it easy to read. It was one of those books that I picked up and didn’t put back down
Overall Thoughts: I absolutely loved this book, I think the storyline was unique and unpredictable which is something I’m always looking for and the writing style is exactly how I like it. I found the characters relatable and I really connected with the main character throughout the story.
There were 2 chapters in the middle of the book that I found to be slow paced but it actually worked this time (I usually hate that!) because otherwise it would’ve been too intense if the whole book kept up a fast pace.
Rating out of 5: 4.5
