5 Fun ideas to break up your fitness routine

I have found that one of the main reasons people give up on their fitness is out of boredom/ dissatisfaction with their fitness routine. That’s why I came up with a few ways to mix up your routine to hopefully help you feel satisfied and happy with your fitness.
 
Go to a class
Fitness classes are a great way to meet new people and have a bit of fun as well. You could try something that you haven’t done in a while or something completely new.
 
Go somewhere different
If you enjoy what you usually do then why not try switching it up by changing the location? Whether it be a new running route or a different gym, get an adrenaline rush by trying something slightly different!
 
Throw it back to your childhood
Grab some friends and take it outside for a game of rounders or dodge ball. You’ll all have a great laugh while getting some exercise in at the same time! It’s also a great excuse to spend some quality time with your friends away from your phones/ tablets/ computers.
 
Hire a personal trainer
I know they can be very expensive but if you can afford to pay for a few sessions then you could learn some new things and it’s always useful to get some tips from a pro! A professional personal trainer will be able to tell you where you need to work on. Whether that be your form or the type of exercise you’re doing and they will always give you some new things to try.
 
Try a fitness challenge
Whether it be a 30 day squat challenge or a half marathon, challenge yourself and get competitive! You could get your friends involved or do it independently, whichever you prefer.
