As I don’t tend to do much shopping, I thought it would be best to do a collective haul of everything I’ve bought this month rather than little hauls of one or two items.
The first new thing I tried out this month was this Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer that everyone has been raving about forever. It’s slightly pricier than my usual concealer but still very affordable at £7.99 and after seeing all of the glowing review about it, I couldn’t not try it!
The next product I bought was Rimmel Wonder’full Mascara which has Argan oil in it which is supposed to help you get get ‘clump free’ lashes while lengthening and defining them. The wand hugs your lashes for precise application which I really like and the formula seems to work well on my lashes! For only £7.99 I think it’s a fantastic product!
Fake tan is one of those things I go through phases with and I haven’t used it in well over a year but something sparked in me this month that made me want to give it a go again. I asked on Twitter for recommendations for self tanners and this one was mentioned quite a few times so I was pleasantly surprised to see it as such a reasonable price in Superdrug (£11.29). It is a fairly small can (which I liked for trying it out) so I’m not sure how long it will last me but so far I’m very impressed with it!
Not a new product for me but I repurchased my staple foundation Rimmel Wake me up because no matter how many different foundations I try, none of them have compared to this one for me. I paid £8.99 for it and it’s worth every penny to me!
I haven’t done a big clothes shop in such a long time so I’ve decided to keep picking up the odd item so that I can slowly start renewing my wardrobe.
I took advantage of the bank holiday at the end of the month and popped into New Look where I found this beautiful top. I love how simplistic and fresh it looks and it’s one of the softest tops I own! I paid £11.24 for this which I thought was a bargain!
In New Look I also picked up this pretty shirt/ blouse type top. The delicate pastel colours drew me in and when I tried it on I fell I love! It fits well and can be worn in so many different ways. This cost me £19.99.
And that’s all I bought in May! Not a lot I know but I like the idea of just picking up the odd item every now and then rather than doing a massive shopping trip, Having said that though, I am planning on doing quite a bit of shopping next month so I’m sure that post will be a lot more interesting!
Let me know if you have any recommendations for me in the comments!
